We have been honoured with another award!

Optician ROMAN WAGNER is delighted to receive another DtGV award for verified quality as “Outstanding Optician 2023”.

DtGV Siegel 2023 Roman Wagner

The assessment through mystery shopping is based on performance in the areas of customer service and consultation. In addition, the further assessment evaluated technical equipment, regional engagement and tradition. In doing so, optician Roman Wagner achieved an overall score of 97% in the customer service category.

In the DtGV “Outstanding Opticians” assessment, the following sub-areas are examined in more detail:

Customer service: How comprehensive are the services offered? Did the store make a clean and welcoming impression? Were the test customers treated in a friendly and courteous manner? (40% of the overall score)

Consultation & eye test: What consultation services are generally available? How carefully and thoroughly was the eye test carried out? Were the test customers advised competently and comprehensively? (55% of the overall score)

Social/regional engagement: How well are providers positioned in terms of sponsorship and support for regional clubs and projects? Are social and/or environmental projects abroad also supported? (5% of the overall score)

Only the best opticians can impress. To be awarded the “Outstanding” distinction, opticians had to achieve an overall score of at least 75% across the 70 defined assessment criteria.

Workplace accident and broken glasses – what to do?

Workplace accident and broken glasses – what to do?

Workplace accident and broken glasses! What to do?

One moment of inattention and you have tripped, slipped, or a box in the warehouse has fallen onto your glasses. Workplace accidents happen quickly.

If your glasses fall and break in the process, it is naturally frustrating.

The good news: even if you remain uninjured, the employers’ liability insurance association will cover the cost of repair or replacement.

How should you proceed?

  • You must prove that the glasses were being “worn for their intended purpose” at the time of the accident and that the damage is related to the accident. Take photos and, if applicable, name witnesses.
  • Inform your employer.
  • Complete an accident report and send it to the employers’ liability insurance association.

What can we do for you?

  • We will be happy to prepare the necessary cost estimates for repair or replacement. These can be sent via email.
  • The employers’ liability insurance association may request the old invoices. If we manufactured the damaged glasses, the invoices are stored in our system and can be provided.
  • Alternatively, we can issue a certificate stating that the new glasses are an equivalent replacement for the old ones.
