That is why lawmakers established a minimum visual acuity below which driving is normally not allowed. Driver’s license applicants can pass the vision test at an official vision test center with daylight visual acuity of 0.7 VA in each eye.
If the applicant requires glasses or contact lenses in order to achieve this visual acuity, the visual aid is noted in the driver’s license.
